KöR Deep Bleaching™ System

KöR Deep Bleaching is a revolutionary new whitening treatment that permanently improves the color of the teeth with a bleaching gel that restores the teeth’s ability to absorb oxygen for stunning results.

Developed by Dr. Rod Kurthy, this advanced system can be performed on nearly any patient unhappy with the color of their teeth. Effective results have been achieved for patients ranging from 14 to 90 years old.

Most patients will not experience any pain or discomfort during this treatment, unlike the side effects sometimes associated with other bleaching treatments. The trays are custom-fit for each patient’s mouth, and the gel is composed of materials that practically eliminate any risk of sensitivity.

After treatment, patients often experience whitening of 16 shades or more, producing stunning yet natural-looking results. The results of KöR Deep Bleaching are permanent as long as patients keep up with their at-home maintenance care. Even staining substances such as coffee, tea, smoking or red wine will not alter the color of your teeth.

Lumineers®

Lumineers Roslyn Lumineers®, also known as laminates, are a new kind of porcelain veneers that are so thin they don't require any tooth-buffing before placement. Porcelain or indirect veneers are thin shells that are custom-made in a lab and applied to the teeth. These require two appointments: one for taking an impression, and a second for preparing the natural teeth and placing the veneers once they have been created.

What are the steps of porcelain veneer placement?
At your first appointment, Dr. Newman takes an impression of your teeth so he can create veneers that are appropriate for your individual smile. During your second appointment, the natural teeth that will be receiving veneers are "buffed" or "shaved" a very small amount to compensate for the added thickness of the veneers, so afterwards your teeth are the same size as they were before. Dr. Newman holds the veneers to your teeth to confirm that they're the correct shape, size and color, and then bonds the veneers in place with the help of an etching solution and a special light.

Dental Veneers

Veneers are very thin, tooth-colored shells that are custom-fit and bonded to the front of the teeth to give you a bright, white, even and attractive smile. Commonly made of composite (plastic) or porcelain, veneers make it possible to correct a variety of color and shape problems. Veneers can:

Reduce or eliminate spaces between the teeth (diastemas)
Repair broken or chipped teeth
Whiten dark teeth, yellow teeth, permanently stained teeth or otherwise discolored teeth
Correct misshapen or crooked teeth
Close small holes or pits in teeth
Improve the appearance of teeth that are too small, too big, or uneven

Dental Bonding

Bonding can improve the appearance of chipped, broken, cracked and stained teeth and spaces between teeth. Dentists apply a thin layer of tooth-colored composite resin to the teeth to restore chips and cracks, fill in gaps or cover stains, and provide patients with a more attractive and functional smile.

First, a thin layer of plastic material is applied to the tooth's surface. Then the dentist sculpts the bonding material to the desired shape and bonds it to the tooth using a special light. The bonding material comes in many colors so it will be possible to match the shade of your teeth. Once the plastic has hardened, it is polished until it is entirely smooth. The procedure takes one to two hours and the bonding lasts about 10 years.
