Ira Newman is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton (1983 B.A.) and Emory University (1988 D.D.S.). Dr. Newman completed his Post-Graduate Residency at New York University/Bellevue Hospital Center, and has been a member of the teaching faculty at the New York University College of Dentistry - Department of Prosthodontics.
Dr. Newman has studied at the prestigious Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. There, he completed a full course on mastering occlusion and temporal mandibular disorders (TMJ dysfunction).
Dr. Newman has also been awarded privileges at North Shore University Hospital and is on the attending staff. He has published articles and lectured both in the United States and abroad on dental topics. Dr. Newman has appeared on the Today Show, CBS Evening News, MSNBC, and New York One News speaking on modern dental technologies and procedures.
